Course Content
General optical principles, electromagnetic spectrum, vision phenomenon, photochemistry of vision, sensations arising from stimulation of the retina with light, color vision, adaptation to dark and light, optical properties of the eye, optical properties of the refractive surfaces of the eye, schematic eye, optical system of the abnormal eye, emmetropia, imagination in emmetropia size, visual acuity, factors affecting visual acuity, depth of focus, visual field, visual field deficiencies, pupil, pupillary reflexes.
Objectives of the Course
To give information about optics of vision, refractive errors and correction methods of refractive errors.
