Course Content
Measurement and unit systems; Scalar and vector quantities, Motion in one dimension; path, velocity, acceleration and equations of motion; Newton's laws of motion, mass, weight, Friction force, Motion in two dimensions, Work, power, energy; Electrostatics, Types of electrification, Electric current, Potential difference and Ohm's law.
Objectives of the Course
To convey the basic concepts of physics to the students and to improve their problem-solving skills, as well as to enable students to understand the various events and situations that they will encounter in optics applications.
