Course Content
Explanation of the program, basic concepts in patient care, communication and communication principles, patient and health team relations with other members, health protection, hospital infections; asepsis, antisepsis, disinfection and sterilization methods, sleep and rest. vital signs; pulse, respiration, blood pressure, body temperature, body mechanics and positions, body mechanics principles, patient movement and turning, drug applications, drug administration sites; oral route, parenteral route drug administration, intravenous fluid administration and application method, blood transfusion. Nutritional needs, meeting the basic needs of the individual, basic nutrients, nasogastric tube feeding. excretory system, most common excretory problems, enema application, urinary system, physiology of the urinary system, characteristics of normal urine, urinary catheter application, bladder irrigation, care of the patient approaching death and the concept of death, physiological needs of the individual approaching death, changes that occur at the time of death, before and after death and laboratory studies.
Objectives of the Course
The chronic renal failure have the necessary information about hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis methods used to treat the practitioners of these methods have gained the ability to educate patients to ensure patient compliance and educate dialysis medical technicians professional members of hardware to develop itself to follow developments in this area.
