Course Content
Basic Concepts in Surgery, Asepsis and sterilization methods, Nutrition and Fluid Electrolyte Balance in Internal and Surgical Patients, Surgical Infections, Wound Healing, Preoperative Patient Care, Surgical Care, Postoperative Patient Care, Postoperative Patient Care, Early and Late Postoperative Complications. Internal and Surgical; Endocrine System, Digestive System, Colon-Rectum Diseases, Liver Gallbladder and Biliary Tract Diseases, Urinary System Diseases, Eye Diseases, Ear-Nose-Throat Diseases, Chest-Cardiovascular Diseases, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Diseases and Burns, Orthopedic Diseases, Neurosurgical Diseases, Breast Diseases. It covers Oncologic Surgery, Organ Transplantation.
Objectives of the Course
At the end of this course, it is aimed that students will be able to carry out applications that will provide the care, education and rehabilitation of patients who need to be treated internally and surgically, with a holistic approach, in the medical treatment processes, preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative periods.
