Course Content
Throughout the course, the goal is to help students understand what it takes to start a new business, as well as the critical decisions and managerial requirements that must be addressed once the business is established.
Objectives of the Course
Beginning with an overview of how entrepreneurship is addressed in economic literature and a brief history of the concept, this course examines the process by which a business idea is transformed into a successful business from start to finish. The course examines the characteristics of entrepreneurs and aims to raise awareness of the various aspects and dimensions of entrepreneurship, explore the underlying conditions that lead to the emergence and development of entrepreneurship, and teach students how to prepare business plans. It also aims to help students recognize their own entrepreneurial potential and identify areas they need to develop.
