Mechatronics
Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary department based on the fields of machinery, electronics, software and control expertise. Our mechatronics program trains skilled, knowledgeable and qualified technical manpower with certain professional skills in the production of all tools, equipment, hardware and equipment systems based on machinery, automation, robotics, electricity or electronics or computer control used in industrial and commercial business areas and in the introduction, design, installation, use, maintenance, repair and development of these technological structures.
The Mechatronics Program aims to provide students with a solid basic knowledge in the field of mechatronics and to reinforce this knowledge with applied projects. The program aims to provide the skills to define, analyze and solve complex technical problems, while also providing the competence to use modern engineering tools and technologies. The program's priorities include educating individuals who are prone to teamwork, have high communication skills and leadership qualities, providing professional ethical values and developing a sense of social responsibility. It is aimed to equip students with the desire and ability to continuously improve themselves with a lifelong learning approach, and to train individuals who are conscious of occupational health and safety issues and who can apply this knowledge is another goal of the program.
The Mechatronics Program encourages and supports students to develop innovative projects. It aims to facilitate students' integration into the sector by establishing strong collaborations with local and national industry, and to increase participation in international projects and exchange programs. Other important goals of the program are to ensure that graduates have high employability rates in the sector and to ensure that students make scientific contributions by encouraging them to participate in R&D studies. In line with these goals and objectives, the program's outputs are constantly reviewed and updated.
