Course Content
In this course definition, causes and prevalence of mental disability, diagnosis and assessment of mentally handicapped children, characteristics of children with mental disabilities, education, counseling to parents of children with mental disabilities are included.
Objectives of the Course
To gain qualifications about basic concepts related to mental disability, classification of mental disability, understanding the characteristics and education of children with mental disabilities.
