Child Development

To train child development specialists who can evaluate the mental, language, motor, social, emotional development and self-care skills of children between the ages of 0-18 with normal development, disabilities, in need of protection, working, at risk, who can evaluate the mental, language, motor, social, emotional development and self-care skills of children, who can provide family counseling, who provide services to the child, family, educator and society in supporting all development and skill areas and who are committed to ethical values; Our main mission is to train child development specialists who are well-equipped and qualified, who integrate theory and practice, who are innovative, highly motivated, able to work in a team, able to conduct original scientific studies, and who will ensure the development of children aged 0-18 years who are normal, special needs, sick, in need of protection and at risk. Our department aims to develop tools to evaluate the development of children; to provide consultancy, publication and research services to individuals, institutions and organizations related to the field; to develop projects using contemporary approaches related to children, families, educators and society.
