Course Content
Preparing the child for the procedures to be performed with explanations appropriate to the age, using therapeutic play activities, preoperative hospital of the planned child visiting the site, introducing the material to be used, introducing the team, allowing parents to be with the child to support and comfort the child
Objectives of the Course
It is a care philosophy that aims to minimize the physical (insomnia, pain, immobility, etc.) and psychological (anxiety, fear, frustration and guilt etc.) problems experienced by children and their families receiving health care services.
