Methods and Techniques	Bedside patient evaluations and clinical ward rounds Outpatient clinic observations and patient history-taking practices Practical training in basic ENT examination techniques such as otoscopy, anterior rhinoscopy, and indirect laryngoscopy Observation and interpretation of audiological assessment methods (audiometry, tympanometry, etc.) Observation of endoscopic examination techniques (nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy) Operating room observations (surgical procedures such as tonsillectomy, septoplasty, tympanoplasty, etc.) Case-based learning sessions Clinical problem-solving and differential diagnosis exercises Scenario-based training for ENT emergencies (epistaxis, foreign body, acute hearing loss, etc.) Seminars, student presentations, and literature discussions

Neck Anatomy, Voice Disorders and Larynx Cancers, Hearing Loss, Nose and Paranasal Sinus Anatomy, Nasopharynx and Paranasal Sinus Tumors, Sinusitis and Allergic Rhinitis, Otitis and its complications, Ear Anatomy and Physiology, Newborn Hearing Loss, Lip and Oral Cavity Diseases, Facial Paralysis, Tonsil, Adenoid and Pharynx Infections, Neck Masses, Vertigo, Tinnitus, Thyroid and Parathyroid Diseases, External Ear Tract Diseases, ENT Emergencies, Salivary Gland Diseases

Objectives of the Course

The aim of the Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) clerkship is to enable students to acquire knowledge of head and neck anatomy and physiology, to develop the ability to diagnose and manage ear, nose, throat, and neck diseases, to assess hearing and balance disorders, and to gain clinical decision-making skills in ENT emergencies.
