Faculty of Medicine

Medical school graduates have the opportunity to work as physicians in public institutions and organizations, the private healthcare sector, research centers, and universities. Graduates are assigned to various healthcare units, such as primary healthcare facilities, public health centers, and emergency departments of public hospitals, based on the results of a lottery conducted by the Turkish Ministry of Health as part of their two-year mandatory service obligation.
Physicians who pass the Medical Specialization Exam, held twice a year, continue their specialty training and work at university hospitals and training and research hospitals affiliated with the Turkish Ministry of Health.
