Course Content
Basic and advanced cardiac life support. - Arrhythmias. - Approach to chest pain patient. - Coma and mental state changes. - Approach to a multi-traumatic patient. - Case discussions. PRACTICAL: Intramuscular, intravenous, subcutaneous injection. - Intravenous access. -Obtaining blood gas, interpretation. - ECG and its interpretation. - Intrabone application. - Lumbar puncture, interpretation of CSF analysis. - Thoracentesis, application of paracentesis, interpretation. - Nazogastric probe application. - Foley probe application. - Suture applications, techniques. - Basic life support. - Cardiopulmonary resuscitation. - Cardioversion. - Defibrillation. - Airway, LMA, endotrachel tube applications. - Bleeding control, wound care, dressing. - Broken immobilization, dislocation reduction, splint procedures, bandage application. - Cervical and vertebral stabilization, neck and backboard applications. - Stomach irrigation, decontamination. - Bronchodilator treatment, nebulization. - Consultation procedures. - Medical record. - Judicial case management, forensic report. -Communication skills.
Objectives of the Course
