Course Content
Required core courses (Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, Medical Pathology, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Medical Pharmacology, Urology, Medical Biochemistry, Differential Diagnosis from Symptoms, Pediatrics, Medical Genetics, Radiation Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, Psychiatry, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Sports Medicine, Medical Practice) and non-compulsory committee courses. Theoretical courses are taught in semester classrooms with full attendance. Practical sessions are conducted in Basic Medical Sciences laboratories.
Objectives of the Course
In the course board; Symptomatology, anamnesis and physical examination of certain diseases related to the urogenital system and breast, pathological and pharmacological features of diseases related to these systems • Pregnancy and birth physiology and effects of sex hormones • Defining the pathological features of urogenital system diseases, learning the clinical approach to diseases related to these systems, auxiliary examination and imaging methods for diagnosis and evaluation of examination results • reproductive health physiology and diseases • Development and diseases of the urogenital system in children • It is aimed to teach kidney and urinary tract diseases, symptoms, examination and diagnosis methods. • Clinical and pathological changes in central nervous system traumas • Degenerative, inflammatory and postural disorders of the musculoskeletal system • Ability to perform neurological examinations and interpret the results • Basic approach methods to psychiatric patients • The concept of physical medicine and rehabilitation and the sequence of steps in the examination of the movement system • It is aimed to teach the mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, toxic effects, drug interactions and clinical use of drugs used in diseases related to the central nervous system and musculoskeletal system.
