Course Content
In this type of translation, the translator must have the following skills: cultural sensitivity, ease of use, and a design that will not tire users. Since the translation of web pages is usually done through the localization method, it requires a separate skill and knowledge.
Objectives of the Course
In an increasingly connected world businesses cannot afford to operate in one or two languages. Customers and clients come from all corners, and to be able to reach them, one needs to speak their first language. This is when website translation becomes an urgency. To provide students with information about web translation and to teach them how to do this type of translation in an acceptable manner with examples from Türkiye and the world.
