Course Content
Students' comprehension on how the basic verbal / written translation will contribute to the translation efficiency of non-verbal / non-verbal information, signs and symbols. It is to demonstrate that the interpretation of non-verbal images is primarily social and ultimately personal, that symbols do not exist on their own.
Objectives of the Course
The purpose is to raise awareness on the effects of semiotics on translation and on the way it is reflected in translation.
