1	PROMOTION Introducing the school and meeting the students. Informing students about which books and resources will be used.
2	Discussion on the nature and process of translation. Translation of some sentences taken from literary texts.
3	Some problems encountered in the translation of literary texts are shown on a paragraph basis and a paragraph is translated.
4	Discussing the standards to be observed in translation and translating a passage from a short story.
5	Discussing the relationship between culture and language. Translation of a short culturally focused text.
6	Giving information about translation methods. Application of semantic and communicative methods that are faithful to the text at sentence and paragraph level.
7	Discussion of linguistic universality. Translation of a passage from a short story (E.T.)
8	Midterm Exam
9	Text types and selection of translation method suitable for text types. Translation of some sentences taken from scientific and literary texts.
10	Translation of a text that reflects cultural and social values using the appropriate method.
11	Discussing the hybrid aspect of texts. Analysis of a literary text and its translation using different methods to show the hybrid feature of a text.
12	Practice (Practice). A brief review of translation methods. Analyzing and translating a passage from a short story.
13	Alıştırma. Aynı etkinliğe devam etme. Çeviri standartları göz önüne alınarak öğrencilerin çevirilerinin karşılaştırılması.
14	Poetry translation. The problem of untranslatability. How to translate poems. Translation of an English poem into Turkish and comparison of products.
