Course Content
Recognise the principles and rules to be followed in the translation of each genre by selecting examples of novels, stories, fairy tales, poems, plays, travel and similar genres and develop the ability to translate in the light of these rules
Objectives of the Course
To be able to recognize literary text types and to develop their skills about translating these types of texts.

5 | If a short English story is translated into Turkish, comparison of the translations made by different authors |
6 | Determining the literary arts in the analysis of an English poem and its translation into Turkish |
7 | Discussing different translation methods used by translators and translating a literary text |

9 | Translating a part from an English play into Turkish and discussing how different cultural elements are expressed |
