Course Content
In order to increase the intelligibility, to speak effectively, to convey the purpose with fewer words, stress, intonation, voice level and sentence stress types are examined. Scientific development strategies, changes according to individuals, memory models, memory encoding methods and techniques, development of thinking ability and speed are taught. Skills to be utilised in case the translator feels tired in the first thirty minutes and how to transfer from the source language to the target language are covered in detail.

| 2 | Continuation of the first week topics. Examining and exemplifying the difference and types of 'interpretation' and 'translation'. |
| 3 | Understanding the importance of speaking skill and developing it with exercises; enabling each student to speak on a variety of topics. "what makes a good interpreter?"and watching "Interpreting process"videos. |
| 4 | Continuing student conversations. Turkish paraphrase exercises: Re-expressing a Turkish speech listened to in Turkish as a successor. |
| 5 | Continuation of individual conversations. Continuation of speech transfer exercises from Turkish to Turkish. Preparation for consecutive translation. |
| 6 | Making English speeches similar to the Turkish speeches made in the previous week and paraphrasing them again in English. |
