Course Content
A brief overview of Karatay Madrasah, its teaching staff, endowment deed, and architectural features. Concepts of civilization and culture, fundamental elements that prepare the way for the birth of civilization. The basic sources of Turkish-Islamic civilization, the founding elements of Turkish-Islamic civilization, and some reflections of Turkish-Islamic civilization.
Objectives of the Course
To create a consciousness that reflects on and idealizes serving all of humanity on the common ground of human values, justice, dynamism, and shared experience with communities of different cultures and beliefs, by updating the values our nation, the founder of a great civilization, places on humanity, and producing.
To introduce Celaleddin Karatay, the founder of the Karatay Madrasa, the great Turkish statesman who inspired the name of our university, and the Karatay Madrasa as a center of knowledge and wisdom, reminding us that we are members of a deep-rooted and profound civilization with the understanding of "From Madrasa to University."
To instill behaviors belonging to the Ahi Brotherhood, one of the fundamental values of the Turkish nation, such as professional diligence, honesty in commercial dealings, respect for rights and laws, compassion, developing a sense of cooperation, being cheerful, and having self-confidence.
