Course Content
In this course, the conceptual framework of entrepreneurship, approaches, functions, process, entrepreneurial culture, local and international context of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ethics will be discussed.
Objectives of the Course
The objective is to enable students who are expected to possess the requisite characteristics, knowledge and competencies to establish their own business as well as to work for others to demonstrate their existing entrepreneurial characteristics and to provide them with the necessary resources to develop these further.

1 The concepts of entrepreneurship and international entrepreneurship, their key differences, the importance and development of international entrepreneurship, and its relationship with globalization.
2 Characteristics of an international entrepreneur, identification of international opportunities, factors and motivations that trigger internationalization.
3 Uppsala model, network approach, transaction cost theory, resource-based view, eclectic (OLI) paradigm
4 The Born Global concept, its differences from traditional internationalization, the reasons for rapid internationalization, and case studies.
5 Identifying opportunities in global markets, developing business ideas, conducting international market research and feasibility studies.
6 Market selection criteria, market segmentation, PESTEL analysis, country risk, and market attractiveness assessment.
7 Exports, licensing agreements, franchising, joint ventures, foreign direct investment, strategic business partnerships.

9 The concept of culture, Hofstede's cultural dimensions, intercultural communication, and the impact of cultural differences on entrepreneurial decisions.
