Course Content
This course is designed to analyze environmental issues such as sustainable development, environmental protection, combating environmental pollution and climate change. The reflections of the topics to be covered within the scope of the course on the production sector will be discussed from economic and political perspectives. Air, water, soil pollution, waste management, climate change negotiations in Türkiye and the world, and developments in carbon markets will be discussed in detail.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is; To provide the necessary theoretical knowledge to be able to carry out activities and practices that are compatible with sustainable development principles, cope with environmental problems and are sensitive to natural resource consumption. Throughout the course, the concept of sustainability will be explained with models, criteria and future implications.
