Measurement and Evaluation Methods

According to KTO Karatay University Education and Examination Regulations, faculty members are obliged to take at least one midterm and final exam in each academic semester. Apart from these applications, projects, field studies, organization visits, research, presentations, homework, etc. Techniques such as are applied. The student's success in courses is determined by evaluating the semester grades and the final exam grade together. Midterm grades consist of quiz grades, midterm exam grades, and grades given to assignments, applications, and practical work depending on the course. In the credit system, the type and weight of mid-term and end-of-term evaluations (exam, homework, practice, etc.) are announced to the department head and students by the instructor teaching the course within the first two weeks of the semester. The final evaluation is determined by the letter grade by the instructor teaching the course, taking into account the general success level of all students taking that course. Additionally, the instructor may benefit from one or more of the methods given below.
