Course Content
Contains information about the importance of biology in terms of society, science and technology, genetic replication, genetically modified organisms as a scientific and social dilemma, stem cell technology, gene therapy, DNA and forensic medicine, the use of microorganisms in health, immunity and genetics, obesity and genetics, cancer and genetics, Alzheimer and genetics, diabetes and genetics, depression and genetics, technology and genetics in the modern world.
Objectives of the Course
At the end of the course, it is aimed that students will be able to define terms such as gene, genome, protein in a simple and concise manner, as well as to discover diseases that may occur as a result of genetic events. In addition, it is aimed to have an idea about stem cell and gene therapy.epression and genetics, technology and genetics in the modern world
