Course Content
The contribution of the Ahi community to the establishment of the Ottoman Empire, Ahi-order in the founding period of the Ottoman Empire, information provided by Ibn Battuta for Anatolian Ahis, the influence of the Ahi community in regulating the Ottoman social structure, the regulation of the Ottoman Craftsmen Organization, the Ottoman guild organization, the transformation of the Ottoman craftsmen organizations to Gediks, Ottoman tradesmen traditions and ceremonies, Çelebi's information on the Ottoman artisans 'organization in his Seyahatname, the restructuring of the artisans' organizations after the Tanzimat, the situation of the tradesmen and craftsmen in the Republic period, today's tradesmen and craftsmen, Mediation / Ombudsman, Imece and Yaran organizations in Anatolian villages will be the content of this course.
