Course Content
The basic criteria of Ottoman administration, was the Ottoman State theocratic? The responsibilities and powers of the Sultans, the Tanzimatçı Pashas, the first civil opposition movement, the vetire (process) that came with the First Constitutional Monarchy, the 1876 coup, the general elections and the first assembly in the Ottoman Empire, the Young Turks and the Republic, the First Constitutionalism, the personal administration period, The conflict points of Abdulhamid and the Young Turks, the partyization of the Committee of Union and Progress, the Second Constitutional Monarchy and political parties, the March 31 incident and the Constitutional Monarchy, the Babıali coup, the first single-party period in the Ottoman Empire, 1912 ""elections with a stick"".
Objectives of the Course
The emergence of awareness of the existence of democratic tendencies in Turkish society both before and after Islam, together with the determination of how, based on what need and when the parliamentary system emerged in Turkish history.
