Course Content
Fundamental concepts of consumer psychology; psychological approaches to consumer behavior; perception, attention, and cognitive processes; motivation and need theories; attitudes and attitude change; emotions and consumption; learning and memory processes; decision-making and cognitive biases; social influence, culture, and identity; consumer satisfaction and loyalty; ethical consumption and sustainability; and the psychological foundations of contemporary consumption trends.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to examine individuals'consumption behaviors within the framework of psychological processes and to provide an understanding of the effects of perception, attitudes, motivation, emotions, learning, and decision-making mechanisms on consumer behavior. Within the scope of the course, it is aimed that students will be able to analyze theoretical approaches in consumer psychology and evaluate everyday consumption practices from a scientific perspective.
