In the first place, this course will be introduced in the context of the definition, classification and measurement of cultures in the context of psychology and general social sciences. Different culture-based psychological approaches (intercultural, cultural and local psychology) will be discussed as comparative. On this basis, common psychological approaches and research findings in different fields (social, developmental, clinical etc.) will be evaluated in cultural context and the nature of common psychological applications in our country will be discussed.
