Course Content
General treatment principles of fractures and physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches after various fractures; conservative treatment of conditions leading to joint degeneration such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and rehabilitation principles after joint replacement surgery such as endoprostheses; tendonitis and tears of the rotator cuff, rehabilitation of pathologic shoulder joints such as bursitis and periarthritis; posterior patellofemoral pain syndrome, rehabilitation of ligament and meniscus injuries.
Objectives of the Course
To understand and reflect the basic methods used in the evaluation of orthopedic problems and musculoskeletal injuries that are necessary or unnecessary in surgery, to develop the ability to select and apply physiotherapy-rehabilitation approaches which are most suitable for pathologic and applied surgical and special cases
