Program Qualifications

P1) Possesses theoretical and practical knowledge of basic health sciences and applies this knowledge effectively in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

P2) Identifies and evaluates problems in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and plans appropriate assessment and intervention approaches based on scientific evidence.

P3) Has case-based clinical decision-making skills in various physiotherapy practice areas.

P4) Communicates effectively with patients, their relatives, and the healthcare team during physiotherapy processes, and actively participates in teamwork.

P5) Develops social, cultural, and interdisciplinary perspectives through courses outside the core physiotherapy curriculum.

P6) Uses measurement tools, technological systems, and information technologies employed in physiotherapy practices safely, effectively, and ethically.

P7) Uses Turkish effectively in written and oral forms, and communicates professionally in at least one foreign language at a basic level (A1–A2).

P8) Has an awareness of lifelong learning; follows professional knowledge, skills, and technological developments, and continuously improves oneself.

P9) Follows national and international literature in physiotherapy and rehabilitation; conducts scientific research processes, collects, analyzes, and interprets data, reports results, and applies scientific evidence to clinical practice.

P10) Understands the impact of physiotherapy practices on individuals, society, and the healthcare system, and is aware of patient safety, personal data privacy, professional ethics, and legal responsibilities.

P11) Develops approaches aimed at protecting and promoting public health and encouraging healthy lifestyle habits.
