Course Content
This course is the basic concepts of occupational health and safety and the concepts of historical development; Duties and responsibilities of the workplace physician and occupational safety specialist in the workplace; Risk, Danger, Primary, Secondary, Third Protection Concepts; Physical, chemical, biological and psychosocial risks; occupational health and safety legislation and practices in the workplace.
Objectives of the Course
This course aims to enable students to identify the causes of work accidents and occupational illnesses, the knowledge and skills to protect them from workplace accidents and occupational diseases, and to learn about worker health and job safety legislation and to be evaluated with workplace practices.
