Nutrition and Dietetics
1. Possesses sufficient knowledge in basic health sciences and the related professional field, with the ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge to specialized practices.
2. Demonstrates the ability to identify, define, interpret, formulate, and solve field-specific problems by selecting and implementing appropriate analytical and intervention approaches.
3. The ability to understand and interpret processes, events, cases, equipment, or products, solving related problems through a holistic perspective and contemporary methodologies.
4. The ability to work effectively both as an individual and as a proactive member of multidisciplinary teams.
5. Has successfully completed at least two non-field elective courses within the curriculum to foster interdisciplinary breadth.
6. The ability to develop, select, and utilize up-to-date, functional tools required for field applications, including the effective use of advanced information technologies.
7. The ability to communicate effectively in Turkish (both orally and in writing) and demonstrates proficiency in at least one foreign language.
8. Maintains an awareness of lifelong learning, with the ability to access information, monitor scientific and technological advancements, and continuously pursue self-renewal.
9. The ability to design experiments and field studies on discipline-specific subjects, including data collection, analysis, interpretation, and professional reporting of results.
10. Possesses an awareness of the universal and social impacts, as well as the legal consequences, of professional field applications.
11. Adheres to professional ethics and demonstrates a strong sense of professional responsibility.
12. The ability to establish and articulate connections between at least two different non-field courses that contribute to the individual’s general cultural development.
13. Utilizes a foreign language at the A1–A1+ general level in accordance with the European Language Portfolio (ELP).
14. The ability to explain, in general terms, the historical progression from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic of Türkiye and identify its position within global history.
15. Recognizes the civilization to which the nation belongs, acting with professional ethics and a profound sense of social responsibility.
16. The ability to identify and rectify expression disorders in written and oral Turkish, producing correct and meaningful discourse while gaining competence in scientific research methods.
17. Selects and employs appropriate methods and tools related to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) to solve problems and maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
18. Gains the competence to solve academic and professional challenges by utilizing information technologies effectively and efficiently.
