Course Content
Architecture and architectural design phenomenon, design principles and social structure of design; Visual communication tools in architectural design; traditional and current approaches, representation, visuality and perception in architecture. Architectural presentation; purpose, current tools and approaches. Explaining presentation tools and techniques with examples at different scales and applying the techniques
Objectives of the Course
The architectural design process and visual communication tools, used by the architectural design process will be analyzed and benefits of these tools will be explained. Representation methods, visuality and perception will be discussed. Examples of various scales and techniques of architectural presentation will be explained to students to carry out into their design practice.
