Interior Architecture

The Department of Interior Architecture at KTO Karatay University is a 4-year formal education department of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. The language of education is Turkish. This department started undergraduate education in 2012-2013 in order to train interior architects who can solve interior problems, use the equipment required by the age competently, follow social and cultural differences, conscious and specialized in their professional field. The name of the program in 2012 was Interior Architecture and Environmental Design and in its first year, 22 students were admitted with additional quota. A total of 120 students enrolled in the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design program. With the name of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, the department has graduated a total of 100 students so far. With the 2015-2016 semester, the name of the program was changed to Interior Architecture. Since 2015 until today, a total of 461 students have been enrolled in the program. In this case, a total of 581 students have enrolled in the department with the name of Interior Architecture and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. With two program names, the department has given a total of 357 graduates since its establishment.
