Course Content
Classification of materials; Physical, mechanical and technological properties of materials; natural building stones and their usage in buildings; baked earth materials; Cementitius materials (cement, gypsum, lime); Concrete; Special concretes; Concrete unites.
Objectives of the Course
To express and classify importance of materials in interior architecture. To explain physical, mechanical and chemical features of materials. To explain kinds, features and implementation styles of heat, sound and fire insulation materials. To explain usages of ceramic, stone, wood, plastic, glass and metal materials in structures and to draw their details. To classify and define connective materials. To inform about concrete and concrete mix materials.
