Course Content
This course emphasizes the student's internalization of communicative skills based on academic reading and listening, as well as critical thinking, while increasing English awareness.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to acquire basic English grammar and vocabulary; to develop their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills so that they can communicate at a simple level in daily life and in their professional fields. Additionally, it is intended for students to recognize basic English terms related to their professions and to gain the ability to understand foreign sources.

3 Present Simple: Questions. Professional activities. Introductory conversations. Reading text: "Super Commuters". Activities related to the text. (Unit 1, Lessons 3–4)
4 General review. (Unit 1, Lessons 1-2-3-4)
5 Family relationships and personality traits. Present Simple Tense: Asking and answering questions with Who and What. Forming sentences with the verb "to be" (am, is, are) (Unit 2, Lesson 1)
6 Describing people's physical appearances. Forming sentences with "be" and "have". (Unit 2, Lesson 2)
7 Talking about abilities: "Can" and "can't". Reading text: "An Unusual Family Business". Activities related to the text. (Unit 2, Lesson 3-4)
