Course Content
Basic Latin and general knowledge, general terms, prefixes, roots, suffixes, terms used in medical imaging services and instrument and equipment terminology, nervous system and psychiatric terms, medical terms related to the respiratory and digestive systems, medical terms related to the cardiovascular system and blood and blood-forming organs, medical terms related to the urinary, genital and endocrine systems, medical terms related to the eye, ear-nose-throat and skin, general terms and abbreviations.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to learn the basic terms used in the field of medicine and health, to comprehend their origins, structures, and meanings, and to use them correctly. It is also intended for students to use medical language effectively in professional communication and to establish accurate, complete, and clear communication during the operating room services process.
