Course Content
Recognition of the operating room environment, sterilization and asepsis rules, duties of the surgical team members, patient care before–during–after surgery, recognition and use of surgical instruments, patient safety practices, and infection control measures.
Objectives of the Course
To ensure that the student can apply their theoretical knowledge in the operating room environment, take an active role within the surgical team, and provide care in accordance with patient safety principles.
