Course Content
Introduction to surgical diseases, principles of asepsis and antisepsis, wound healing, preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care, fluid-electrolyte balance, infections, shock, burns, trauma, and the consideration of surgical diseases according to systems together with the operating room process.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to ensure that students learn, at a basic level, the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment methods of surgical diseases. It is intended that students be able to effectively use their knowledge of surgical diseases in the care, preparation, and follow-up processes for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures in the operating room environment.
