Course Content
Introduction to artificial organs / Cells and biomaterials used to develop artificial organs / Hemodialysis and artificial kidney / Artificial pancreas production / Structure of artificial liver and bioartificial liver / Heart support devices / Oxygenators and artificial lung production
Objectives of the Course
To provide information about the natural functions and functioning of organs, artificial organs developed to replace impaired organs and to provide organ support, and to give information about biomaterials required to develop artificial organs (heart, lung, kidney, etc.).
