Course Content
Health tourism concept, health tourism market, health tourism industry. Treatment process, customer expectations in health tourism, quality in health tourism, security and risk. Legal and ethical issues in health tourism. Economic, social and institutional health tourism, the effects on the system: the country of origin. Impacts on the system: target country. health tourism in Turkey: a general framework and medical tourism, thermal tourism, tourism for the elderly and disabled. Researches in the field of health tourism. They should evaluate future health tourism research
Objectives of the Course
The purpose of this course, knowledge of the concepts related to health tourism, examining the development of health tourism, health tourism sector and the examination of the analysis of Turkey and the world health tourism.
