Key topics include e-commerce models (B2C, B2B, C2C) and platform types, along with e-commerce website infrastructure selection and design. Crucially, the course covers electronic payment systems and data security, which are vital for online transactions. A significant portion of the content is dedicated to digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, social media marketing), e-commerce law (distance selling agreements, consumer rights), and supply chain management (e-logistics) processes.
Objectives of the Course
The primary goal of the "E-Commerce" course is to teach students the fundamentals of conducting business in the digital world and prepare them for the dynamics of modern marketplaces. The course aims to ensure that students possess the necessary technical, legal, marketing, and logistical knowledge required to establish, manage, and grow a successful online business. Essentially, it seeks to enable students to understand how to transition from traditional business models to e-commerce models (B2C, B2B, etc.) and how to gain a competitive advantage on these platforms.
