Course Content
IATA DGR and ICAO technical guidelines; SHGM dangerous goods guidelines; dangerous goods classes; dangerous goods in passengers and baggage; concealed dangerous goods; packaging and labeling; cabin crew responsibilities; aviation accidents; safety procedures.
Objectives of the Course
To teach classification, transportation, packaging, and cabin practices in accordance with IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) and SHGM regulations regarding the safe transportation of dangerous goods in aviation; and to equip students with the competencies to recognize dangerous goods, assess risks, and apply safety procedures as cabin crew members.
