Course Content
Definition and purpose of irrigation, Soil-plant-water relations, Calculation of plant water consumption, Water losses in irrigation and irrigation efficiency, Irrigation methods, Elements and design of open canal irrigation systems, Elements and design of canal irrigation systems, Definition of agricultural drainage, Drainage need and drainage in agricultural lands design of systems, information about drip irrigation and rain irrigation systems.
Objectives of the Course
To give information about the importance of compliance and irrigation, the planning of irrigation time of agricultural plants, the calculation of irrigation water needs of plants, the classification of irrigation systems, the design of open canal irrigation systems, the design of canal irrigation systems, drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation systems.
