Course Content
Definition of Dams and Regulators and General Information; Location of Dams and Regulators; Purpose of Construction of Dams and Regulators; Environmental Effects of Dams and Regulators; Classification of Dams and Regulators; Selection of the Type of Dams and Regulators, Forces Affecting Dams and Regulators, Spillways, Bottom Weirs, Cofferdams.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to introduce the types of dams and moorings, to give information about the design principles, to choose the type and to design the project.
