Course Content
Classification of structures. Carrier system selection. Structural system irregularities. Slab types. Beamed slabs, one and two direction slabs, reinforcement calculation with TS500-2000 tables, hollow slabs, various supported and loaded slabs. Threaded slabs. Foundations, foundation types, under-wall foundations, continuous foundations, raft foundations
Objectives of the Course
To explain the basic principles of reinforced concrete structural elements and concrete conveyor system behavior, to introduce analysis methods, design phases and basic principles of reinforced concrete slab and foundation systems
