Course Content
General information on wooden materials, joining tools used in wooden construction, tension and pressure bars, rods subjected to eccentric pressure, simple and combined beams, lattice beams.

| 2 | Safety stresses and reduction amounts to be made on them. Smallest sections, section attenuation. |
| 3 | Coupling means: Threaded connections: Single and double threaded connections. |
| 4 | Wedge Joints: Wooden prismatic wedges, special shaped steel wedges. |
| 5 | Specially shaped steel wedges. Bolted and pin keyed joints. |
| 6 | Spiked joints. |
| 7 | Steel plate nailed joints. |
| 8 | Use of various joining means together. |
| 9 | Drawbars: General information, Applications related to towbars. |
| 10 | Pressure bars: General information, One-piece pressure bars. |
