Course Content
Developmental characteristics of youth; identity search and conflicts; addictions (substance and technology); eating disorders; mood disorders; gender and sexuality; family conflicts; and career planning anxieties.
Objectives of the Course
To define the biopsychosocial problems experienced by individuals during the transition from adolescence to emerging adulthood; to provide the skills to analyze risk factors, protective factors, and common psychological problems within clinical and social contexts.
