Definition of statistics, aim and importance, Nature of Probability and Statistics, Frequency Distributions and Graphs, Data Descriptive, Introduction to Probability, Probability and Census Rules, Discrete Probability Distributions, Normal Distribution, Confidence Intervals and Sample Size, Equilibrium Test
Objectives of the Course
Definition of statistics, its subject and its relationship with various disciplines, data collection and arrangement, means, variability and asymmetry measurements, collection rate and lorenz curve, simple regression and correlation, economic applications will be discussed.
