Course Content
This course covers the main application areas of industrial and organizational psychology. Topics such as job analysis, personnel selection and placement, performance appraisal, training and development, motivation, and job satisfaction are examined. Organizational behavior variables including leadership, organizational commitment, job stress, and burnout are discussed through practical examples. In addition, psychological measurement tools in organizations, consulting practices, and ethical issues are included in the course content.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to introduce the application areas of theories and models developed in industrial and organizational psychology. The course aims to enable students to analyze individual and organizational behavior in work settings. The psychological foundations of human resources practices, employee selection, performance appraisal, and training processes are examined. The course aims to help students develop scientific and ethical solutions to organizational problems.
