Course Content
This course covers the basic structures and functions of the brain, relating them to behavioral examples and everyday life. Processes such as perception, emotion, memory, and decision-making are examined within a simple and holistic framework, showing how they are shaped through interaction with the brain. The course aims to develop a multi-factorial and dynamic understanding of the brain and behavior that does not reduce behavior to a single brain region.
Objectives of the Course
This course examines the relationship between human behavior and the brain using a case-based approach connected to daily life, without resorting to rote memorization. The goal is for students to understand that the brain is not a system that "determines"behavior on its own, but rather one that interacts with behavior.
